Amphipod (Iphimedia obesa) from Loch Carron - October 2020

The addiction of super- macro photography
These tiny little crustaceans make for addictive super-macro subjects.

This one was perched on the top of a dead man's finger. Achieving greater than life size magnification is a tricky task but fun to do with a supplementary close up lens. Cropping the original is also part of the game here when creatures are this tiny.
