Easter diving at Loch Carron and Sea toads - April 2018

Diving in Loch Carron guarantees seeing sea toads, sometimes called the great spider crab (Hyas aranaeus). They often appear defensive of their territory and sometimes approach with outstretched claws. This one had no trouble climbing on to my outstretched hand before deciding it was not the place to be and scuttled off.
