Jackdaw quarry, Capernwray, Lancashire - December 2009
It's nice to find a UK quarry with good visibility and water bluer than you'd expect. Apart from a curious mixture of wreckage in the quarry there are some whopping big trout in the shallows
Some of the trout are more photogenic than others, with quite a few of them having scars and deformities. However, they look well fed and I enjoyed getting shots of them.
